The House Group Structure forms part of the lifeblood of Hart Plain Church and the friendship, fellowship, love and pastoral care provided by the Groups is greatly valued by the members. When this is added to the prayer, study and spiritual growth that takes place within the groups one can easily see how vital they are to our Church Life.
We currently have 6 groups with a total of 60 members. Two of the groups meet during the day and the other four groups have evening meetings. A typical meeting will include Praise, Prayer, Study and a time of fellowship with a cup of tea and a biscuit or even the occasional birthday cake. In addition to the meetings, the groups help lead a service twice a quarter, this is a most rewarding experience as the group helps to plan the whole service.
